Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 September 2026

1. Introduction

NLITE Technologies (“NLITE”, “we”, “us”) respects the privacy of everyone who interacts with our websites — visitors, prospective customers, business contacts, students and learners. This policy explains what information we collect through nlite.in and academy.nlite.in (together, our “websites”), how we use it and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form on our websites, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, this may include:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
  • Your company, institution or organisation, and your designation
  • The service or training programme you are interested in, and details such as team or batch size and preferred timing
  • Your message and any other information you choose to include

We also record the page the form was submitted from, the time of submission and the IP address it was sent from.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our websites, our own servers record basic visit information:

  • The page you visited and the page that referred you
  • Your IP address and an approximate location (country, region and city) derived from it on our own servers
  • Browser and device information sent by your browser
  • A randomly generated visitor identifier, stored in your browser’s local storage, which helps us count returning visits

We use this only to understand how our websites are used. We do not currently use cookies for this, and we do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools. You can remove the visitor identifier at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may also process technical request and security logs, which can include IP addresses and browser information.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and requests
  • Communicate with you about the services or programmes you asked about
  • Process training programme enquiries and requests from organisations and institutions
  • Provide information you have requested
  • Maintain our customer and business communications
  • Operate, maintain and secure our websites
  • Improve our services, programmes and websites
  • Meet our obligations under applicable law

4. Marketing communications

Submitting an enquiry or request does not subscribe you to marketing communications. If you choose to receive updates from NLITE, we may send you information about relevant services, programmes, events and company updates. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe option in those communications or by contacting us at contact@nlite.in.

5. Sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate our websites and business or to fulfil your request — for example, providers of hosting and email services. We expect them to handle it securely and only for those purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users or websites.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to meet business and legal requirements, or to resolve legitimate enquiries and disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, update or delete the personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent you have given, or raise a concern about how your information has been handled. Please contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Third-party links

Our websites may link to external websites. Those websites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control, and we encourage you to review their policies.

10. Children’s privacy

Our websites are intended for businesses, institutions and adults. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through our websites. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its effective date will always be shown on this page.
